|During times when people are putting up walls, it's important to remember the things we share with others.
Valle de Bravo is a slice of paradise just a couple of hours outside of Mexico City. This vibrant city is surrounded by lush forests, historic sites, and natural beauty.
There is a gorgeous lake nestled at the foot of the mountains that makes the perfect venue for some good, old fashioned sailing. They boast an Santana 20 fleet of 60 boats and some competitive racers.
Sailors have a blast both on and off the water. There are tons of outdoor activities to enjoy nearby. Breathtaking trails, world-famous parasailing, lively outdoor marketplaces, rich cultural sites, and so much more.
Every sailor knows that the best part of the regatta is the after-party. These fiestas are lively, family-friendly, with tons of great food. Anyone lucky enough to attend a Mexican party is familiar with the warm welcome and fun, casual atmosphere.
Mexican culture is all about family, and friends are family much like the sailing community. Everyone is welcomed and have a great time together. Sailors everywhere love to get together and share stories over an ice cold cerveza (beer).
The whole family loves sailing. Tere Schroeder brings the whole crew on Mare Nostrum, including the family dog.
Champions of last Summer's regatta
Congratulations to last Summer's winning team Alba Gomez and Jose Luis Zocco, relaxing after a regatta well-sailed.
It turns out that we all want the same things, a nice place to sail, some fun in the sun, and a welcoming community to belong to.
