Kelp Removal

If you've ever sailed in Southern California you know what a problem kelp can be. The Schock 40 uses simple innovative cutters to remove kelp from the foils.

No more hanging over the side with a kelp stick or an unreliable leading edge blade. Big kelp windows at each foil let you see any speed robbing kelp. It's then a simple matter to use the kelp cutter to remove it. It's as simple as 1, 2, 3, Cut!

1. Insert the cutter into the foil bearings.

2. Pull the handle to deploy the blade.

3. Rotate the blade into position at the leading edge.

4. Pull the blade up to the hull. Cut that nasty weed away!
