Kelp RemovalIf you've ever sailed in Southern California you know what a problem kelp can be. The Schock 40 uses simple innovative cutters to remove kelp from the foils. No more hanging over the side with a kelp stick or an unreliable leading edge blade. Big kelp windows at each foil let you see any speed robbing kelp. It's then a simple matter to use the kelp cutter to remove it. It's as simple as 1, 2, 3, Cut! |
1. Insert the cutter into the foil bearings. |
2. Pull the handle to deploy the blade. |
3. Rotate the blade into position at the leading edge. |
4. Pull the blade up to the hull. Cut that nasty weed away! |
