Quality Construction

The Santana 2023 C is 100% hand laid up fiberglass – A technique that ensures structural consistency throughout. The bulkheads below are bonded into place to add strength and rigidity. The deck is reinforced in strategic areas and is painstakingly engineered to meet your needs whether sailing or sitting at anchor. The side decks have been kept wide and flat for safe and easy on-deck maneuvering; and the cockpit is a spacious T-shaped design with comfortable bench seats and high coamings. All hardware and rigging has been carefully selected for effectiveness and durability. The mast is stepped on the deck over a structural bulkhead and is held in place by 1 x 19 stainless rigging. It is hinged for easy trailer sailing and all halyards are internal. Best of all, you can take it anywhere. Weighing in at just 2255 pounds, including boat, trailer and rigging, the Santana 2023-C tows easily behind a standard size vehicle.

A retractable centerboard and innovative tilt-up rudder allow launching in only 27” of water, and highly simplified rigging techniques make it possible for you to be sailing in less than 10 minutes.

In twelve easy steps, you remove the tie down line, raise the mast, unfurl the main and jib, back the boat into the water, fill the water ballast tank, rig a few lines and set sail – NO fuss! NO bother!

Top of the list of special cruising amenities is a large pop-top that can be easily adjusted to increase headroom below to full six feet. For good ventilation, the cabin can be equipped with four optional opening ports. A large forward hatch and a sliding main hatch are standard. The electrical system on the Santana 2023-C includes distribution panel, running lights and cabin lights. There are storage lockers beneath each of the bunks and under each cockpit seat. A covered anchor well has been molded into the foredeck. A special motor mount has been designed into the cutaway transom for easy installation of the outboard engine and convenient access while under power.

You will be amazed at the care taken in the designing, engineering, and building of this remarkable 23-foot trailerable performance cruiser. You will also be delighted with the low entry-level price!

The Santana 2023-C is a dream to sail and delightfully easy to handle. It is stiff and stable, yet uniquely responsive and exciting on the water.

Whether sailing in the strong gusty winds of San Francisco Bay, or the light unstable breezes of inland lakes, you and your crew will be proud and happy to be aboard a Santana 2023-C.
