Club Naples Sabot for Beginners
The Club Naples Sabot for beginners has a single laminate 100% hand laid up fiberglass hull with high gloss gel coat on the outside. The interior is white with colored splatter paint. The fiberglass mast partner and center thwart are bonded into place, and the boat is equipped with a wood floorboard that is covered with foam non-skid padding. The center thwart provides floatation, and the boat has mahogany inner rails.
To make this boat fun and easy to sail, the sail control lines on the Schock Club Naples Sabot are kept simple and easy to adjust. This Sabot has single adjustment lines and more basic hardware than the Brian Thomas/Corsair racing model. It also has a simple, straightforward boom vang, an external outhaul, a down haul, and a non-adjustable stern traveler. This boat is every bit as competitive as the racing model and gets the beginning sailor off to a great start.
The Schock Club Naples Sabot meets the requirements of the International Naples Sabot Association (INSA). It is light and durable and will continue providing outstanding performance as the young sailor progresses through the C fleets, the Bs, and on to the As.
